Jeanne Wong, designer of "Tote 'Em's" tote bags and "Priva-See's" for nursing moms, was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She attended Washington State University, where she met her husband. They are the proud parents of a son and daughter and have a grandson who is the apple of their eye!
Jeanne has loved fabric from her earliest memories - sewing doll clothes as a child, then her own clothing as a teenager, and then for her own children. She was introduced to quilting about ten years ago by a friend in New England and has been hooked ever since! A casual "suggestion" by her husband that she should think about cleaning out some of her quilting closets (yes, more than one!) led to a fun little experiment with different tote bag designs that evolved into her successful "Tote 'Ems" business in 2004. The Eugene Saturday Market, Tuesday Market, Holiday Market and King Estate Winery are fun marketing venues for her designs and after hearing so many customers, new and returning, wonder what her website address was, it's time to expand in that direction, also. Many of her tote bags are one of a kind, and nothing is assembly-line produced. Each is lovingly handmade just for you!
In 2006 she added Priva-See's, stylish privacy covers for nursing moms, to her line of products - after her daughter-in-law requested one for traveling with Jeanne's infant grandson. They are 100% cotton and provide great coverage for nursing easily in any social setting. And....are made from fabulous fabrics, of course!
We love to hear from our customers about all the fun they have with their Tote 'Ems and Priva-See's. E-mail us a note, too!
